Hi!! My name is Vivvi Lewis
A little about me- I’m 21 years old and I have a physical disability called a right hemiparesis or cerebral palsy(CP).
I’m currently at Lander College for Women (Touro) and I love my family and friends, especially my nephews and niece.
In my spare time – I don’t have much of it (because of school but love my shadows who help me with my work), but I love cooking, learning how to drive, doing yoga and swimming and of course hanging out with my family and friends!
I love listening to music, sharing a good cup of iced coffee and helping people as much as I can.
Now that leads me to explaining why I wanted to start this page….
Given that I have a disability since birth I needed to learn how to do typical things differently. I have had therapy all my life and, don’t get me wrong, I didn’t know anything different, so I loved it!! I want to encourage people to never give up on accomplishing their goals and dreams even if it takes longer or takes a different path than other people- you can only do your best!!
I also want to show people all the tools that help me on a daily basis.
I hope to convey that having a disability is not a bad thing and it shouldn’t be looked down upon!
We can be just as capable or even more capable than anyone else! Can’t wait to share with you guys and have you share with me! Let’s keep it positive!!!
